Romero’S Restaurant

It’s a common trope that food and flavor is a language beyond nationality. Our visit to Romero’s was an instance that gives meaning. Despite our language barriers, the staff was generous with their time, knowledge, and hospitality. The sweetbreads, chorizo, kidney, NY Strip, and vavette were of incredible quality and preparation from a skilled, patient, and joyful chef on the parrilla. The kindness of the staff was not exclusive to us, though the treatment of each guest seemed unique. I felt consumed, in the best possible way, by the experience of enjoying this beautiful food and dining experience. The table by the parrilla is the best in the house, though I don’t imagine there is a poor experience to be had if your heart and stomach is open this kind of pleasure.

Es un restaurante con buen servicio y atención correcta. Probamos pasta y el sabor fue más bien regular, sin destacarse. En general es un lugar prolijo y bien atendido.

La experiencia fue muy agradable, acudí en la noche y estuve en la pequeña terraza que está sobre la calle, donde estuve fresco y cómodo. El interior del lugar también se ve muy lindo, limpio y con buena estética. El servicio fue muy bueno, en mi caso el mesero fue de mucha ayuda porque recién llegaba a Uruguay por primera vez y la descripción de los platillos y su consejo fueron de mucha utilidad. La comida deliciosa y con abundantes porciones. Simplemente, si visdecepcionaron, visiten este lugar, lo recomiendo.
